Seattle Actors Theater - Auditions
There are no auditions for Seattle Actors Theater. We cast entirely from within our permanent ensemble.
Those who studied personally with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York are welcome to interview and may be invited to join us, as are former students of Robert Carnegie at Playhouse West in North Hollywood, California.
Individuals with that kind of training and background would certainly understand our language and way of working. Those who have had "Meisner classes" would certainly feel out of place as it is our repeated experience that those who offer such classes have corrupted Mr. Meisner's inventions to the point that the work is unrecognizable.
